The Course Rating team aids the SCGA with measuring and rating more than 400 SCGA member courses using the USGA Course Rating System. The majority of their time is spent measuring distances to various obstacles from specific landing areas based on shot parameters to create a Course and Slope Rating for each set of tees.
If you're interested in volunteering for this core service, contact courserating@scga.org for more information.
Club Delegates serve as a liaison between the SCGA and its member clubs. Delegates are regularly updated on all SCGA activities to ensure member clubs receive the full benefits of their membership. The Delegate is asked to keep club members and officers up-to-date on any important information and serves an important role providing a line of communication between the SCGA and its members.
For more information on how your golf club can participate in the SCGA Club Delegate program, please contact clubservices@scga.org.
Handicap Chairs are responsible for administering the USGA World Handicap System at their clubs. All Chairs must complete the SCGA Handicap Certification Class to be SCGA Certified.
