As an SCGA member, you get access to our Member Outings program, which offers simple, worry-free, non-competitive golf experiences at premier and often private clubs across Southern California. Just pick an outing, sign up and show up ready to play. Come with friends or join solo and we’ll handle everything else. Here are some of our featured upcoming local Member Outings:
Wood Ranch Golf Club features an 18‑hole, Ted Robinson–designed championship course set in the scenic foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains. Known for its challenging layout, elevated tee boxes, manicured fairways, and dramatic views across Simi Valley, it offers a top‑tier private golf experience with consistently excellent playing conditions.
Bella Collina Golf Club in San Clemente, CA, is a 27-hole, Gary Player-designed facility featuring the Carnoustie and Muirfield 9-hole courses. Known for its challenging "canyon-style" layout rather than traditional links, it features dramatic, severe elevation changes, narrow fairways, and no flat lies.
Lomas Santa Fe CC features a private, 18-hole, 6,608-yard par 72 championship course designed by William Bell. Known for its coastal North County San Diego location, the course offers sweeping ocean views, wide undulating fairways, and well-manicured greens, challenging all skill levels.
The North Course (formerly the Champions Course) at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is designed by Gil Hanse, offering a challenging, tournament-ready layout. Recently renovated to feature wide fairways, naturalized barrancas, and strategic, links-style elements, it serves as the host venue for the NCAA Division I Golf Championships.
The South Course at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is known as a traditional, player-friendly, parkland style layout, often referred to as the Legends Course. It features narrow, tree-lined fairways, scenic holes, and demanding of accuracy off the tee.
Join us at Pebble Beach Resorts for a remarkable golf experience along the Monterey Peninsula. This trip covers five days, four nights, three rounds of golf, meal credits to cover breakfast each morning, and two hosted dinners inclusive of service charges, resort fees, and taxes.
Join us for a remarkable golf and cultural experience in the "Emerald Isle". This trip covers eight nights and six rounds of golf at world class courses including Ballybunion, Old Head, and more! Enjoy four-star accomodations and a luxury vehicle/driver with fellow SCGA members.
