AWGC promotes women's organized golf and fosters a close fraternity among members for their mutual pleasure and benefit. Because of the difficulty of the course and the pace of play, joining golfers should have an index of 40 (handicap 43) to enjoy the game and play in our AWGC weekly sweeps.
We have theme events throughout the year and usually find ourselves enjoying the full service lunch and bar after our weekly Sweeps rounds. We compete in San Diego Country Women’s Golf Association events including fielding a team to compete in their team competition. Many of us improve our games taking advantage of the Flight Deck TopTracer Range enjoyed at Arrowood Golf course.
The Arrowood Women's Golf Club (AWGC) is open to women 18 years of age or older with a handicap index of 40 or lower. Annual membership includes SCGA member benefits and Handicap Index. Weekly tournaments are held on Tuesdays beginning at 8:00. Club Championship, Individual Eclectic Tournaments, Holiday Events, and other special events are held each year. Club members are also eligible to participate in all SCGA sanctioned events.
