Established in 1977, OLWGC members play on Thursday mornings at the Olivas Links Golf Course, a beautiful golf course nestled along the coastline in Ventura, CA.
We welcome guests and encourage new membership. All are invited to join us for a round, but must have an established index to compete in regular weekly games and major club tournaments. Five (5) rounds of golf are needed to establish an index. We hold weekly tournaments and each weekly tournament is a different game. We use a blind draw for assigning tee times, to assure that you meet and play with different ladies in the club each week. In addition, we hold special tournaments throughout the year, such as our Club Championships, President's Cup, Turkey Shoot, and Ham Shoot. OLWGC is a member of the Women's Public Links Golf Association(WPLGA). WPLGA promotes amateur golf socialability, provides uniform handicapping in accordance with the GHIN Handicap system, provides Association Play Days, as well as Team Play and Championship Tournaments.
