The Southern California Mexican-American Golf Association was founded in the 1960's as the southern section of a larger statewide organization. While the club was originally established to encourage and expand the participation of Mexican-American golfers, membership is available to all golfers of good character regardless of color, creed, national origin or ethnicity. Although SCMAGA is primarily involved in golf and related social activities, the Riverside Chapter supports numerous community based and regional charities. College scholarships are awarded to deserving students, through Chapter fundraisers. We are a travelling club so we do not play the same course more than twice in any calendar year. We have members from Glendale to Palm Springs and San Diego to the High Desert.
