The Chiefs Golf Club is based in the South Bay area of Southern California. History of the Chiefs Darin joined the Chiefs Hockey team in 1994, thanks to his good friend Carl Diamond inviting him onto the team as a defenseman. Carl is a goalie, so he like to pick his defense carefully. Scott, Serg, Wolfe and a few others also have been on the Chiefs Hockey Team, and they are golfers. In 2006, with several of the regular golfing bunch wanting to get SCGA indexes, the Chiefs Golf Club was born. A few other names were considered, but we settled on the Chiefs since it continues the connection to the hockey team and it’s a pretty cool name (we hope you agree). Annual dues are $45.
