San Clemente Men's Golf Club is a thriving club at the San Clemente Municipal Golf Course. Our club runs well organized tournaments, we try to keep our members informed of all aspects of our club, the course and the course management in order for them to be fully invested in the club if they so wish.
A large portion of our members participate in our 3 monthly tournaments: 1st Wednesday, 2nd Saturday and 3rd Friday. All tournaments except Saturday are flighted by Handicap Index. Prizes are paid for both gross and net in each flight and all prizes are in pro shop scrip.
We actively seek new members who are interested in tournament golf, and good fellowship. We have fun and play by the rules.
Membership of 550+, active varied tournament schedule (about 120-140 per tournament). President's Cup (Match Play), Club Championship, Senior Championship Tournaments and Member/Guest Scholarship Fund Raiser.The Annual Club Tournament and Banquet is in September. The Board of Directors meet monthly and any club members are invited. Most entry fees for tournaments are $7 and payout is to about 40% of the field, with a bump from the Club Treasury. All handicap procedures are followed using the GHIN system.
