All SCGA Junior Coaches are trained in Positive Youth Development, which directly contributes to the fostering of juniors’ social, emotional, relationship and cognitive-behavioral skills. Through high-impact golf and youth development programming, juniors are surrounded by mentors and coaches who provide all the resources necessary to succeed on and beyond the course.
The Foundation subsidizes access for juniors at more than 130 SoCal courses ensuring that they can practice and play for $5 or less.
The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to support participants with their post-secondary educational pathway in 4-year universities, community colleges or vocational schools.
